Your application at Qargo starts with a chat with someone from our Talent team. They’ll guide you through the process, get to know your experience and ambitions, and share more about Qargo’s mission and culture. It’s a conversation to explore whether it’s a first match from both sides.

Next, you’ll meet your future team lead and one of your potential team mates. Together, you’ll explore how the team works, communicates, and collaborates, and what the role looks like day to day. It’s a chance to see how your way of working aligns with Qargo’s values and team dynamics.

Technical match

Now it's time to get a real feel for the role through a technical assessment, which is tailored to the position you're applying for. Once completed, you'll walk us through your thinking process and approach, giving us both the chance to reflect on whether the role is the right fit.

  • Our hiring process starts with a conversation with our Talent team to get to know your experience, ambitions, and share more about Qargo. This is followed by a cultural match with your future team lead and a teammate to explore how you work and collaborate. Next, you’ll complete a role-specific technical assessment, and finally present your approach to the team, allowing for deeper discussion and mutual reflection to ensure a strong fit on both sides.

  • We value people’s time, but above all their output, which is why we offer a flexible approach to working from home that can vary by role and team. While we have an office-first mindset, because we believe in-person collaboration and real-life connections often make teamwork easier, most colleagues work a mix of home and office days. We also offer flexibility in working hours, trusting people to organize their work in a way that best supports both performance and balance.

  • When you start at Qargo, you’ll begin with a one-week onboarding on site (mostly in our Ghent office) designed as a hands-on Qargo bootcamp to set you up for success. Your first day focuses on getting you set up with the right tools and an introduction to our ways of working, followed by role-specific sessions and meetings with key team members later in the week. After this initial week, learning continues through a mix of ongoing sessions (both on site and remote), documentation, and shadowing colleagues as you gradually take on more responsibility. From day one, you’re trusted with ownership, supported by the guidance and structure you need to grow into your role.
